Iran, Azerbaijan to Foster Bilateral Cooperation

Tehran, Jan ۲۲ (MRUD NEWS) – Iran Minister of Transport and Urban Development, Rostam Ghasemi, is heading a delegation to Azerbaijan on January ۲۴ to conduct bilateral negotiations with Azerbaijan's officials..Negotiations will target development of cooperation in transport, transit, and infrastructural projects..The Iranian Minister will visit Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, and Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport..The agenda of the mutual meeting is to accelerate Astara-Astara rail dock project, to follow up facilitation and acceleration of transit and traffic across Iran and Azerbaijan's territory, and to confer on construction of road bridge over the Astarachay River.
