Chabahar Port gears up for Nowrooz Marine Travels

PMO News Portal - As part of the Nowruz Travel Facilitation Plan for the Makran coasts, various services will be provided to visitors and maritime tourists across key locations in Chabahar, including Tis and Haft-Tir Pier, as well as eastern Makran coastal areas such as Ramin, Beris, Pasabandar, and Gwatar. Western Makran coastal regions like Zarabad, Darak, Tangand Konarak are also included in the plan. According to Askari-Nasab, a total of ۳۵۵ personnel—including administrative staff, supervisory teams, vessel crews, and rescue assistants—will be deployed for service. Additionally, ۱۴ rescue vessels and ۶۰ passenger and tourist vessels are prepared to accommodate travelers. Furthermore, eight service vessels—including search-and-rescue boats, tugboats, and other utility vessels—will be operational during the implementation of the plan from March ۱۵ to April ۴, ۲۰۲۵. These vessels will provide tourism services as well as maritime search-and-rescue operations for citizens during the holiday period.
